Dave Chamberlain "The Rev"
Dave grew up in Spokane, Washington. He started piano and trombone lessons as a young child, playing keyboard and bass in rock bands during adolescence. During his middle and high school years, he studied trombone under Dr. John Nicholson, then Head of Gonzaga University’s Music Department. Dave was converted to Christianity at 17 and is now Senior Pastor of Canyon Community Church in Chula Vista CA. The Rev graduated from college in San Francisco and he and his wife Eva have lived in the San Diego area since 1975. He has played trombone with five-time Grammy award vibe great Gary Burton, Grammy guitarist Wayne Johnson, 21 Gold Records recipient Frankie Laine, and Gary Puckett of The Union Gap fame. Dave played trombone, ukulele, and sang in nearly 100 standing ovation shows in Lamb's Players "American Rhythm" at the Lyceum Theater.
